Hajj and Umrah visas enter into force

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Yusuf al-Qudah said that Saudi Arabia began to impose the sum of (2000) riyals (380) dinars for each person wishing to perform Umrah or Hajj of the season announced by Saudi Arabia last Saturday.
The judges added in a press statement that the Saudi decision was announced last year, but Saudi Arabia postponed work until the current Umrah season, confirming that the decision came into force.
The judges pointed out that the Saudi embassy in Jordan did not issue any statement on the decision, because the start of work from this season is known previously, stressing that the decision is related to "repeat Umrah or Hajj" and not wanting to perform Umrah or Hajj for the first time.

For his part, a spokesman for the Saudi embassy in Jordan Abdul Salam al-Anzi said in a press statement yesterday that the embassy issued any new official statement on a new resolution relating to the fees of Hajj and Umrah visas.
He stressed that the embassy has not received any official book or information about changing the fees for Hajj and Umrah visas for pilgrims or pilgrims. If anything arrives, the embassy will not hesitate to disclose them.
